Starter Cultures:

Vinegar starter cultures are the equivelant of yeast for wine. Starter culture introduces acetobacter bacteria to the wine you use to make vinegar. Cultures come in either Red or White.

Red mother of vinegar starter culture is used when you want to make red wine vinegar. Just add to the wine and place in oak barrel or glass container.
